Crosby is let as a three rod beat: two rods are let on a season basis. The third rod is a house rod, which is available on a daily basis.
Holmegate is let as a five rod beat: four rods are let on either a season or daily basis. The fifth rod is a house rod, which is available only on a daily basis.
Access to both beats is easy. The pools are generally easy to fish either by fly or spinner.
In recent years the late summer and autumn have provided the most prolific fishing but with approximately 10% of the fish being caught in the spring.
